A day at the circus is the theme of this double length compact disc that contains 24 repeated solo piano melodies. The CD of familiar circus songs and popular melodies, without vocal instructions, is arranged into a complete preballet class. Gayle Corkery leads ten young dancers in a one-hour video that explores the movements of circus performers and several animals in the circus. The kids take a circus train to the Barre and imitate tightrope walkers in the center in this preballet class.

  "Circus Day"

This forty-five minute DVD is a complete preballet class created around a trip to the circus. Ten young dancers first join a circus parade into the center where they do a few stretches and warm-up exercises. Then they take a circus train to the barre where they perform several ballet type movements. Moving back into the center, they imitate the movements of circus animals and performers as they demonstrate exercises for young children. The musical selections in this DVD are by Tim Grundmann which are available on the compact disc "Circus Day".
