A wonderful collection of familiar and classical melodies arranged for a beginning pointe class. The CD starts with music for a warm-up barre and includes four extra tracks for traveling steps in the center at the end of the CD. All of the music for the barre work is repeated.

   

  "Points on Pointe"

This DVD contains video footage of many exercises used in a beginning pointe class. Stephanie uses several young dancers to demonstrate each exercise. This is the examination class she uses to determine if a dancer is ready to go on pointe. She also discusses many of the problems and issues concerning pointe work with Samara Dimattia, a physical therapist trained in dance injuries.
 
Please note: At present the DVD is in a first edition format which is not interactive. It contains all the video footage without chapter markers and menus. The final edition, which will include chapters and the final artwork on the cover (with contents, etc.) is due to come out around October, 2007.
