Marantz's newest standalone CD-RW recorder/player features large color buttons for easy operation. The included remote control makes it possible to operate the unit from across the room as well as change the speed. This unit is a single cd player/recorder with variable speed in the play back mode. It records on standard CD-R and CD RW discs and in addition will play MP3 files. This is a perfect workhorse for every day studio use and comes to the rescue when you need to make that competition or recital CD. The CDR632 has analog, digital and optical input and output, programmable fade-in/fade-out recording, and CD-text which can be programmed and read right from the front panel. You cannot make a copy of a CD with this unit by itself. This is a single deck so to make a copy you will need an additional player or recorder. An adjusted speed copy of a CD can only be made with the use of another CD recorder.
