Direct from the Paris Opera Ballet "LA Classe De Danse Classique" by Sylvain Durand is a treasure chest of original compositions in the style of Lynn Stanford's playing. Laurent Queval is a soloist dancer at the Paris Opera Ballet where Sylvain Durand is the main accompanist. This CD is a sample of what a ballet class is like at the famous Opera house. Each selection is repeated by a slightly different arrangement of the same melody. The thirty nine different tracks actually contain a total of seventy eight different selections. These jazzy pieces (swing style - no classical sounds) on this single sixty seven minute compact disc are perfect for any intermediate to professional ballet class. |

I stumbled upon them on your website a couple of years ago and as a ballet teacher of 23 years I can say that their music is so refreshing. I want more ballet teachers to find this treasure! The jazzy music keeps us so peppy and in great moods during class. What an amazing pianist he is! Did you even know that on both CD's there is a funny secret surprise song that plays about a minute or two after the Reverence? It's not written anywhere on the CD. One day, my class ended and I had not turned off the CD and out of silence came this hysterical song! Do they have any other CD's out beside the two? Please, please, please get them in if they do!
