........MUSIC.......

NEW CD FOR BALLET CLASS - by Peter James aka Soren Bebe who is using this alias to release his recordings of familiar songs. This time songs are from the 30's and 40's with great interpretations of all the classics. Gone is the improvisational jazz feel Soren usually presents. It is replaced by a very melodic rendering of all your  favorite tunes in an easy-to-follow format. These new CDs are perfect for any level of study.

This collection of familiar songs played by Peter James on a solo piano contains music for a very thorough ballet class with sixteen tracks devoted to Barre exercises. After that the dancers will be ready for the jumps and turns in the center performed to music like “Take Five”, “Lover Man” and “You are the Sunshine of My Life”. ‘How High the Moon” is on two separate tracks for small jumps once played in 2/4 time signature and once in 6/8 giving the song two completely different styles. This is an album you will be looking at the jacket to see the names of the songs.
