“Ballet Class Music for the Young Dancer” is the first album by Soren Bebe with music composed and arranged especially for children’s ballet classes (age 4-10 years). For this album, Soren has created some extremely easy-to-follow arrangements of his wonderful original compositions. Gone are the jazzy improvisational moments. This music contains simple uncomplicated rhythms with clear melodies that are easy to hear. There is not much syncopation in this music, and you can tell that Soren is concentrated on keeping this music available to the younger dancer. Some of the tracks at the Barre are repeated with shorter versions so you can choose the length of exercise you want. The center includes music for skips, polka, and mazurka to name a few with lots of very uplifting melodies perfect for getting the kids in the spirit of dancing. This album consists of 33 different original compositions and comes in a beautiful digifile case with track list including song meters, counts and song lengths printed on the back.
