NEW YORK CLASS presents the kind of music you will find in a ballet class in New York City if you are lucky. We are so blessed to have a pianist the caliber of Steven Mitchell making music for us to dance to. Filled with so many favorite melodies it is quite clear that Steven made this album as a gift to Jessica Saund who helped him design the class and obviously inspired him to play so wonderfully. Each selection is perfect for the ballet exercise it accompanies but this is also a great recording to just sit and listen to.  Good luck in sitting still, however, since this title is filled with so much compelling music it just makes you want to dance.  The thirty unrepeated tracks are perfect for any ballet class. They all contain the standard four count introduction and an even number of measures so they fit most any exercise. Thank you Steven for yet another wonderful title.
