five to eight years old. This compact disc is
designed for a class taught by Stephanie Marini
and includes floor work, barre work, center work
and creative movement. Wonderful music for the
moods of being angry, happy, hurt and triumphant
along with expressive songs like “Flight Of The
Bumble Bee” and “Hi Ho Hi Ho” are included on this
compact disc. Each selection is extra long to
accommodate several groups of dancers.

Visual Notes to "Moods & Expressions" Teacher Training DVD This preballet class DVD
shows Stephanie Marini with nine young boys and
girls in a simple dance class. Several barre
exercises are demonstrated with a focus on the feet
and good posture. Stephanie, with the help of an
assistant, first explains and demonstrates each
step, which is then performed by the students.
Technique, improvisational movements, terminology
and stage direction are just a few points covered in
this enjoyable class. This preballet training
DVD is perfect for any teacher or parent to use in
creating an educational dance experience for a young
child five to eight years old.
The single CD contains thirty solo piano melodies for a complete preballet class. The DVD uses many of the selections on the compact disc and presents the steps in a “Do Along” format.
