This collection of familiar melodies and
improvisations by Steven Mitchell is designed for
a very energetic preballet class. The class,
taught by Beth Bogush, is for children six to
eight years old and uses images of a variety of
different animals and shapes. These melodies are
especially arranged to fit a preballet class. All
of the selections on this compact disc are
repeated to accommodate long exercises or several
groups of dancers.
