Welcome to the second volume of music for ballet class by Sylvain Durand. This volume is an equal to the first volume in style and originality. Some of melodies sound like they should be theme songs for a movie or show. Full of passion and movement this music is great to dance to. Once again Andrey Klemm has created this disc for a simple straightforward ballet class. A complete Barre is followed by Center exercises, jumps and Pointe work. The music on this CD is used on the accompanying DVD titled simply “Amandine” after the wonderful dancer in the class. |

Amandine Albisson is an Etoile at the world famous Paris Opera. She is following in the steps of some of the world’s great ballerinas and she looks every inch a perfect dancer. Her movements are strong, controlled and done with a wonderful grace. Be sure to check out her fouettes at the end of the class. It is a true joy to watch this talented dancer take class. Filmed in the giant dome at the top of the opera house, this film gives us a great look at how really large the Paris Opera house is. Andrey Klemm carefully demonstrates each exercise and Amandine follows with doing the step full out. This is a great formula for giving yourself a good ballet class by just following along. There is even some pointe work at the end of the class if you feel adventuresome. The music of Sylvain Durand accompanies the class which means it is impossible not to be inspired by this amazing team. The music for the DVD can be found on the CD "Ballet Class Music” Vol. 2. |
